OrigaMIT Meeting Fall 2011

October 9th, 2011
Meeting Announcement
Date: Sunday, October 9th
Room: W20-491 MIT Student Center
Time: 3pm-5pm

This week we will be learning a box-pleated spider directly from prominent New England origami designer Wensdy Whitehead. This model is a fantastic introduction to box-pleating and is a great model to learn to fold using foil-backed paper. Diagrams for it are published in the latest issue of Creased magazine.

As always, paper will be provided with access to a substantial origami book library! Come learn to fold something!

Meeting Minutes

Origami master Wensdy Whitehead came this week to teach her awesome box-pleated spider (in gold foil-backed paper!), featured in the latest issue of Creased magazine! Over forty attendees at this week's meeting and they're all super psyched for the mini-convention. Plus crane folding this Saturday and Sunday will rock parent's weekend.
